Busy Rocks is a contemporary dance collective, formed in 2008 by five P.A.R.T.S. graduates: Franziska Aigner (AT), Fabián Barba (ECU), Marisa Cabal (ES), Tuur Marinus (BE) and Gabriel Schenker (BR). Busy Rocks was founded on artistic affinities and a desire to keep up and deepen the productive interactions that were built throughout the four years spent together at P.A.R.T.S. The collective creates several projects a year, in several constellations.

Busy Rocks is fascinated by the way movements are produced and perceived.  They challenge the common perception of the dancer as a virtuous self-propelling body, moving freely through empty, resistance-less space. The Busy Rocks collective functions as an inspirational environment and a platform for a constant and consistent work sharing.

From 2010 to 2012 Busy Rocks is artist-in-residence at Beursschouwburg (Brussels, BE).
